Water birth

For many people, hot water relaxes their body and makes them feel more comfortable. It is therefore also widely used during child birth.

Women in labor often love to stand in the shower or sit in a bath.

The advantage of a bath over a shower is that you experience much less gravity in the bath. This makes it easier for you to move more freely and use different positions. Furthermore, the perineum becomes soft from the warm water, allowing it to stretch better. If you wish, your baby can also be born in the bath. For babies, the warm water provides a gentle transition from life in the womb to life outside the womb.

Rent a birth bath

I would like a water birth to be accessible to everyone and therefore rent out the Birth Pool in a Box Pro Normal. This professional and widely used birth bath is a lot more spacious than the normal bathroom baths: there is enough space to move around easily and for a partner to join you. In addition, it is deep enough so that the baby can be safely born underwater. The bath is inflatable and can be used both at home and in the hospital. You also inflate the bottom and it is therefore nice and soft. There are several handles to hold on to and on one side of the bath is a platform to sit on (often used after birth). You can inflate the bath before labor starts, but there is often more than enough time to do this during the first stage of labor. Below are some specifications and useful information:
